Yes. Security is a core priority at solnk. Here's how we protect your data:
Encryption
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption — no unencrypted connections are ever used
- Your social media access tokens are encrypted at rest and never stored in plain text
- Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and cannot be reversed
Infrastructure
- solnk runs on secure cloud infrastructure with regular security updates
- Database access is restricted to internal services only — no public access
- Media files are stored on Cloudflare R2 with access-controlled URLs
Access tokens
When you connect a social account, solnk stores an access token from that platform. These tokens:
- Are encrypted before being stored in our database
- Only have the minimum permissions needed to publish and read analytics
- Can be revoked at any time by disconnecting the account in solnk or revoking access from the social platform's settings
- Are automatically refreshed before they expire (where the platform supports it)
What we don't do
- We never store your social media passwords
- We never sell or share your data with third parties
- We never post to your accounts without your explicit action (scheduling or publishing)
