If a Facebook post shows "—" in the views column, solnk retrieved the basic engagement metrics but Meta did not return a supported Page Insights view metric for that post.
Why this happens
- The authorization does not include the required Page Insights access
- Meta does not expose the requested insight for that Page or post type
- A newly published post has not populated the metric yet
- Meta has deprecated or substituted an older metric for that post
solnk currently checks Meta's available media-view, impression, and video-view metrics and stores the first supported result. If none is returned, views remain unavailable while reactions, comments, and shares can still update.
What to do
- Confirm that the connection is a Facebook Page, not a personal profile
- Reconnect the Page if solnk reports missing permissions
- Wait for the next daily snapshot or request a post refresh
- If native Facebook Insights shows a value but solnk still shows "—" after 24 hours, contact support with the post URL
