Import posts from an account's history

Understand what Solnk imports after connection and what to do when posts are missing.

Solnk can import eligible posts from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and Bluesky. This is read-only: importing history does not publish, edit, or delete anything on the social platform.

What happens after connection

The first import normally starts in the background after the account is connected. Open Accounts, find the account, and choose History to see:

  • whether Solnk can read the account's history;
  • the current import status and progress;
  • posts already imported;
  • Import, Import again, or Try again when an action is available.

Running an import again updates existing records instead of creating duplicates. Imported posts stay separate from posts created through Solnk.

Why some posts may be missing

  • The platform only returns posts that the current authorization is allowed to read.
  • The post is private, restricted, deleted, still processing, or otherwise ineligible through that platform's API.
  • The connected authorization belongs to a different channel, Page, or profile than expected.
  • The connection has expired and the account needs to be reconnected.
  • A large history is still being processed across multiple pages.

For YouTube, use Check access first. Solnk must be able to list uploads owned by the connected channel. Detailed watch-time permission is separate and does not block basic history import.

If the history is empty or stopped

  1. Confirm the channel or profile shown in Accounts is the one you intended to connect.
  2. If the account says Reconnect, reconnect it without removing the account first.
  3. Open History and choose Try again or Import again.
  4. Compare with a public, eligible post on the native platform.

If a known eligible post is still missing, email contact@solnk.com with your Solnk account email, platform, connected account name, and one missing post URL. Never send a platform password or access token.
