Why don't my new Pinterest Pins show view counts?

Pinterest takes 24–48 hours to generate analytics data for newly published Pins.

If you just published a Pin and it shows 0 or "—" for views, that's usually not a bug — it's Pinterest's normal data generation delay.

The 24–48 hour window

Pinterest's analytics API doesn't return view data immediately after a Pin is published. The platform needs 24 to 48 hours to aggregate impressions before they become available through the API.

During this window, solnk will either show:

  • 0 — if Pinterest has returned zero impressions so far
  • — if Pinterest hasn't populated any analytics data for the Pin yet

This is a Pinterest platform behavior, not a solnk limitation.

What to do

  • Wait 24–48 hours after publishing before checking view counts
  • Older Pins (published more than 2 days ago) should always show accurate view data
  • Pinterest view counts are capped to the last 90 days of data

If a Pin is more than 48 hours old and still shows "—", contact support with the Pin URL.
