Which platforms don't report view counts?

LinkedIn, Bluesky, and X (Twitter) do not currently provide view data in solnk.

Some platforms don't expose post-level view counts to solnk at all. If you post to any of the platforms below, expect the views column to show "—".

LinkedIn

LinkedIn's standard API does not expose view counts for individual posts. View-level analytics are only available through LinkedIn's higher-tier analytics API, which solnk is evaluating access to.

In the meantime, LinkedIn posts in solnk will always show "—" for views. Likes, comments, and reposts are still tracked.

Bluesky

The AT Protocol — the open protocol Bluesky is built on — does not include view count data in its public API. View counts shown in the official Bluesky app come from Bluesky's internal service, which is not available to third-party apps like solnk.

This is a protocol-level limitation. Bluesky posts in solnk track likes, reposts, replies, and quotes, but not views.

X (Twitter)

View counts on X depend on your app's API access tier. solnk currently does not surface X view data by default. Likes, retweets, and replies are still tracked.

If you need view-level analytics for these platforms, the workaround is to check each platform's native analytics dashboard directly.
