Step 1: Open the composer
Click New Post from your dashboard. The post composer opens with a text editor and media upload area.
Step 2: Write your content
Type your post content in the editor. Each selected account has its own version and platform limit; the character counter updates for the active destination.
Where supported, use the comment button below the editor to add a first comment. A first comment is published after the main post. On X it counts as another X post and consumes allowance separately.
Step 3: Add media
Upload images or video from your device, or select an existing item from Media Library. Solnk validates the file for every destination. If a platform rejects its format, size, duration, or dimensions, follow the destination-specific message in the composer.
See Supported platforms and media requirements for the current destination table.
Step 4: Select accounts
Choose one or more social accounts. Use Fill to other accounts to copy the active account's content, then tailor the text and settings for each destination. You can also select an Account Group instead of choosing accounts one by one.
Some platforms have additional options:
- Pinterest — Select which board to pin to
- YouTube — Choose a category and set the video as public, unlisted, or private
- TikTok — Choose Direct Post or send to inbox, then review privacy and interaction settings
- Facebook — Choose Post or Reel when a video is attached
For X, the composer labels the post as standard or URL-rate before submission. See X publishing limits and allowances.
Step 5: Save, schedule, or publish
- Save draft keeps the post without sending it. Server-side drafts expire 30 days after their last edit.
- Post sends the post to every selected destination immediately.
- Schedule adds a future publishing time. Threads and Bluesky are post-now destinations and cannot be scheduled.
Each destination receives its own result. One account can fail while the destinations already accepted by other platforms remain successful.
Manage the post
- Open Publishing and filter by Draft, Scheduled, Processing, Published, Partial, or Failed.
- Open a draft to continue editing, schedule it, publish it, or delete it.
- Open a scheduled post to use Edit content or Cancel post before its publish time.
- For a Partial or Failed result, fix and resend only the failed destination.
- Once a post is live, manage edits or deletion on the social platform itself.
Avoid duplicate posts
If a destination remains Pending or Processing, do not create the same post again. Wait for the original result, refresh Publishing, and check the native account before retrying. See Posts are stuck in pending status.
